The New York’s Climate Action Council recently finalized its “scoping plan,” intended to provide a comprehensive approach to achieving the state’s renewable energy and greenhouse gas emission reduction mandated in the “Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act.”
The Business Council has scheduled a webinar for 1 to 3pm on Thursday, January 5, entitled “New York’s Plan for a Carbon Free Economy – What Business Can Expect in 2023” to explain the plan’s major recommendations, and discuss expected legislative and regulatory initiatives for 2023, as well as economic development opportunities and compliance assistance programs related to these actions.

In its ongoing dedication to bettering the communities it serves in Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester counties, this Thanksgiving Tompkins Community Bank gifted a total of $7,500 to Dutchess Outreach, Feeding Westchester, and Second Chance Foods in celebration of its annual “Banksgiving” holiday donation.
