Jon Schneider, Schneider Financial Group

Putnam County Business Council (PCBC) C-Suite Level Leadership member, Jonathan Schneider is Managing Partner of Schneider Financial Group, Ltd.  A family-owned business, Schneider Financial Group has been helping individuals and businesses with their accounting and financial needs for more than 40 years.

A military veteran, Jonathan was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps before joining the firm in 2004. He instructed Marines in hand-to-hand combat before leaving for overseas combat zones.  Jonathan did a tour in Iraq in 2003 and returned to Mahopac when his military duty concluded.

In addition to serving the Putnam business community through his contributions to the PCBC, Jonathan is on the Board of Directors for the Putnam Hospital Center Foundation, as well as serving as Treasurer for a Fire District in Westchester County, NY.  In addition, he is the coordinator for the Putnam /Westchester County area of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots drive.  Jonathan also participates in many other charitable organizations and volunteers for various events.

Jonathan was born and raised in Mahopac and graduated from Mahopac High School.  He is a graduate of the University of Buffalo where he earned his bachelor’s degree.

In 2000, Jonathan began his career in financials working in Long Island as a stockbroker for Investec Earnst.  He has been involved in the financial industry ever since.  Jonathan has been involved in business and the community since he began working in Mahopac at the age of 14.
