The Putnam County Business Council announced today that it will host its Annual Breakfast Presentation & General Meeting on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at 7:30 am. Prior to the main event, members will briefly convene to elect officers and directors for the current year.

To shed the gloom of 2020, the Business Council will toast the New Year and new opportunities in 2021 with a keynote presentation by Author Joe Massaro. Owner and builder of the famous Frank Lloyd Wright house on Lake Mahopac’s Petra Island, Mr. Massaro will discuss professional and personal setbacks and successes based on his recent memoir, “From the First Seat in the Dumb Row to Owning My Own Private Island”.

“We are excited to bring Joe’s inspiring story to our members in the new year,” says Michael Bucci, chairman, Putnam County Business Council. “As we look forward to the COVID vaccine and building back our economy through the innovation and perseverance of our local businesses, we all need a reminder that the strength lies within us to overcome adversity and find success again.”

PCBC Chairman Mike Bucci

Newly elected Putnam County Business Council Chair, Michael Bucci, will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Mr. Bucci will present a brief update on Putnam County’s business climate, as well as new organizational developments, including education, industry-focused programming and an unprecedented increase in new members during the third and fourth quarters of 2020.

County Executive MaryEllen Odell will present opening remarks, followed by a keynote presentation by Joe Massaro. The audience will be invited to participate in an informal Q & A and networking mixer with Mr. Massaro.
