Putnam County braces for COVID-19, ramps up communication and resource education
Documents from webinar on the side bar
Thank you to everyone who tuned in to yesterday’s webinar with Mai-Li Lin, economic development specialist with the SBA. Our goal is to implement innovative and expeditious communications tactics to get information out there to the business community quickly, so Putnam County is aware of our resources.
With less than 24-hours notice, we had 60 participants in attendance on a Friday during this hectic time. It goes to show how much current information is valued.
Moving forward, we will be hosting a webinar every Friday at 4 PM to highlight key information pertaining to Putnam businesses. SBA is just one of many resources and guests that will be presented.
This is a joint effort with the Putnam County legislature, the IDA, the EDA and Putnam County Tourism.
We will also be receiving State and Federal support during the information gathering process. On the right are the documents from last Friday’s SBA presentation regarding eligibility and access to COVID-19 economic injury SBA loans.
Stay safe and be kind,
Jennifer Maher
